Oakley, CA (July 8, 2026) – Two vehicles were involved in a collision on July 7 on the eastbound State Route 4 near Laurel Rd. The collision was reported around 2:31 a.m. after a Nissan Altima and another vehicle were involved.
The Nissan was described as a gray 2010 Nissan Maxima, while the second vehicle was identified as a black Chevrolet SUV. One vehicle came to rest off the roadway, and the vehicles were partially blocking a lane as emergency units assisted at the site.
The Nissan driver reported having a flat tire before being struck. Both vehicles were checked, and one vehicle was noted to remain drivable. Both parties were treated for injuries on site. The cause of the collision remains under review as the investigation continues.
