How Intersection Crashes Commonly Happen at Busy Crossroads
Intersection crashes often occur when one vehicle attempts to cross or turn without enough time to safely clear oncoming traffic. These situations can lead to high-impact collisions, especially on multi-lane roads.
Driver visibility, timing, and right-of-way decisions all play a role in how these crashes develop. Even small misjudgments can result in serious outcomes when vehicles are moving at moderate speeds.
Busy intersections with frequent cross traffic can increase risk, particularly when drivers must judge gaps quickly. Clear awareness of surrounding traffic and cautious movement through crossings can help reduce these types of collisions.
