Whitaker, WV (January 22, 2026) – An accident with injuries was reported late Tuesday morning on Interstate 77 North near mile marker 69 in the Whitaker area, prompting a response from emergency medical and law enforcement teams.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:59 a.m., and initial reports confirmed that at least one individual sustained injuries in the crash. Responders arrived quickly to provide medical care to those involved. The extent of the injuries has not yet been released, but paramedics provided treatment at the scene.
