Los Angeles, CA (July 8, 2026) – A multi-vehicle collision involving at least six vehicles was reported early on Tuesday, July 7, near W Century Blvd and S Budlong Ave in Los Angeles. Initial dispatch information indicated that several traffic lanes were blocked as emergency units worked to assist those involved.
Reports show the chain-reaction crash was first reported shortly after 1:30 a.m. Callers told dispatchers that multiple vehicles, including a Toyota, a Hyundai Elantra, a Volkswagen sedan, and several others, were involved. One caller also reported that a person from another vehicle allegedly attempted to confront them after the vehicles came to a stop.
Dispatch records later indicated that people involved were being taken to local hospitals for evaluation after the extent of their injuries became apparent. Tow trucks were requested for several heavily damaged vehicles, including one with major front-end damage. By around 2:50 a.m., all involved vehicles had been removed from the roadway and taken to storage facilities.
Additional details, including the identities of those involved and the severity of their injuries, had not been released at the time of publication. The cause of the crash continues to be examined as more information becomes available.
