Dallas, TX (July 17, 2026) – Five people aboard a DART light-rail train were injured after a box truck collided with the train on Wednesday afternoon, July 15, at Pearl Street Station in downtown Dallas.
According to Dallas Area Rapid Transit officials, the crash occurred around 12:30 p.m. The commercial box truck struck the train near the station, injuring five passengers. The truck driver was not hurt.
Train service was temporarily disrupted following the collision. DART advised riders to expect delays and provided shuttle bus service between Victory and Deep Ellum stations, as well as between EBJ/Union and Pearl/Arts District stations. Regular rail service has since resumed. The circumstances surrounding the wreck remain under investigation, and additional details have not yet been released.
