Omaha, NE (January 14, 2026) – Authorities responded to a possible injury crash on Sunday night near the intersection of the North Freeway and North Hamilton St in Omaha, where a vehicle was discovered off the roadway.
The incident was reported around 8:28 p.m. after a white sedan was spotted in a ditch near the freeway. Initial dispatch suggested the crash might involve injuries, prompting a response from local law enforcement and emergency personnel.
Upon arrival, crews found the vehicle abandoned, with no one in or around it. After the investigation, officials determined the incident was not related to a nearby well-being check that had taken place earlier in the evening.
