Omaha, NE (January 14, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision with injuries was reported early on Sunday morning at the intersection of N 31st St and Ames Ave in Omaha.
Emergency crews responded around 7:32 a.m. after receiving reports of a crash involving a red SUV and a white SUV. At least one person was injured in the incident, though the extent of those injuries has not yet been confirmed. A witness remained on scene and was reportedly waiting in a nearby parking lot inside a black SUV.
First responders assessed those involved and provided medical assistance. It is not yet known if any of the injured parties required hospital transport.
Authorities have not released further details about the cause of the crash or whether citations were issued. The intersection experienced a minor traffic disruption as the scene was cleared and an investigation was initiated.
