Delafield Twp, MN (January 19, 2026) – First responders, including paramedics and multiple local agencies, assisted several people injured in a two-vehicle collision in Jackson County.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:16 a.m. on January 18 along westbound Highway 60 near milepost 39 in Delafield Township. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2008 Honda Civic was crossing the highway from 470th St when it slid through the intersection and collided with a westbound 2013 Ford Flex.
The collision resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to all occupants of both vehicles. The Ford Flex was carrying three individuals, all from Windom, MN. The driver, Melingko Dullas, 45, and passengers Deurme Chopwa, 47, and Aski G Willy, 51, were transported to Windom Hospital for treatment. The Civic’s driver, 18-year-old Jonah William Nauman, was also taken to the same facility with similar injuries.
Airbags deployed in both vehicles, and all individuals were reported to have been wearing seat belts. No alcohol was involved, and all injuries were classified as non-life-threatening.
Emergency personnel from the Windom Fire Department, local ambulance crews, Jackson and Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Offices, and the Windom Police Department responded to the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
