Lincoln, NE (January 23, 2026) – Emergency crews responded early on Thursday morning to a reported injury accident at the intersection of South 27th Street and A Street in Lincoln. The incident was dispatched as a medical Bravo response, prompting the arrival of Medic 5 and additional units.
Shortly after arrival, responders confirmed that at least one individual sustained injuries in the crash. A second medic unit was requested to provide further assistance, suggesting multiple parties may have required evaluation.
Additionally, authorities received a report of a vehicle partially on the sidewalk near 19th and Stockwell, which may have been connected to the same incident or caused a secondary traffic concern in the area.
The extent of the injuries and the number of people involved have not yet been officially released. Traffic in the area experienced delays as emergency crews provided aid and worked to clear the roadway.
