Lincoln, NE (January 23, 2026) – A multi-vehicle collision with injuries was reported early on Thursday morning at the intersection of North 56th Street and Wilshire Boulevard in Lincoln. Engine 7 and medical units were dispatched under a medical Bravo response shortly before 6:00 a.m.
At least two vehicles were involved in the crash, including a gray and a black car. One individual was transported from the scene for further medical evaluation, while two others declined transport after being assessed by emergency personnel.
The intersection saw a temporary disruption as responders assisted the injured and cleared the damaged vehicles from the roadway. The extent of injuries has not been publicly detailed, but authorities confirmed that at least one person required additional care.
