Thornton, CO (January 25, 2026) – A crash involving reported injuries occurred Saturday evening on northbound I-25 near East 136th Ave in Thornton, prompting a multi-unit emergency response. The incident was reported just before 8:00 PM and involved Engine 6, Medic 6, and additional support from Thornton Fire Ops.
According to dispatch communications, emergency personnel were called to the scene for a traffic collision with injuries. The crash occurred along a heavily traveled stretch of I-25, a key north–south interstate in the region. Responders worked quickly to assess and assist those involved.
At this time, the number of vehicles involved and the nature of the injuries have not been fully confirmed. Authorities remained on scene into the evening to manage traffic and begin an investigation into the cause of the crash.
