What Happens When a Vehicle Fire Occurs After a Crash?
Vehicle fires after a crash can happen when fuel systems are damaged or electrical components spark. These fires may spread quickly, especially if the impact is severe. In some cases, occupants may be at risk of being trapped or injured before they can exit safely.
First responders are trained to act fast in these situations. Fire suppression and rescue efforts often happen at the same time to reduce harm. Protective gear and specialized tools help crews manage both the flames and the damaged vehicles.
Burn injuries and smoke exposure are common concerns after these incidents. Even when a person escapes the vehicle, they may still require urgent care due to hidden injuries or breathing issues caused by smoke.
