How Multi-Vehicle Collisions Can Occur and What to Know
Multi-vehicle crashes often happen at intersections where traffic from different directions meets. Factors like speeding, distracted driving, or sudden stops can increase the likelihood of collisions. Damage is frequently seen not only to the vehicles involved but also to nearby structures if a car veers off the road.
Emergency responders often arrive quickly to assess the scene and ensure everyone is safe. Traffic may be slowed or rerouted while crews clear the roadway. Even without injuries, these crashes can disrupt travel and create hazards for other drivers until the area is secured and vehicles are removed.
