Sharon, PA (March 18, 2026) – A fatal crash was reported on Wednesday morning along Interstate 80 near mile marker 7 in Mercer County. Emergency units responded to the scene, which is located within an active construction zone. One person has been confirmed dead, according to Mercer County Coroner John Libonati.
Westbound lanes of I-80 are closed from Route 19 in Mercer to Route 760 in Sharon and Hermitage.
