Grand Junction, CO (July 10, 2026) – Four people were taken to a hospital on Wednesday afternoon, July 8, after a two-vehicle collision at Patterson Road and Meander Drive in Grand Junction. The accident happened around 3:00 p.m.
The police said a passenger vehicle was traveling west on Patterson Road when it entered oncoming eastbound traffic and hit an SUV. Three people in the SUV were transported with reported minor injuries.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was taken to a hospital with suspected serious injuries. Eastbound lanes of Patterson Road were closed while emergency units worked and the police investigated.
Drivers were advised to use another route while traffic was affected; still, the wreck remains under review.
