Palm Bay, FL (July 6, 2026) – A man died after a two-vehicle collision on Saturday afternoon, July 4, on Degroodt Road in Palm Bay. The accident was reported around 3:20 p.m.
Detectives said the wreck involved a pickup truck and an SUV. Degroodt Road was closed between La Casa Street and Saxony Road while emergency units worked at the scene.
Initial information indicated that one driver had life-threatening injuries. In an update after 6:00 p.m., the police said the man involved had died from his injuries.
