Akron, OH (January 13, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash early Monday morning near South Main St in Akron left one driver injured, according to emergency dispatch reports.
The collision occurred around 4:37 a.m. and involved a Nissan Pathfinder and a Green Local Schools van. Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find the van’s driver, a man reportedly around 40 years old, suffering from a back injury sustained during the crash. Paramedics treated him on-site before transporting him to a local hospital for further evaluation.
Fortunately, no students were on board the school van at the time of the incident. The Nissan also sustained damage, though no additional injuries were reported.
