Albuquerque, NM (January 15, 2026) – Emergency crews responded late Tuesday night to a crash involving injuries near the intersection of Quail Road NW and Coors Boulevard NW in Albuquerque. The incident, reported around 11:32 p.m. on January 13, may have involved a hit-and-run driver.
Engine 7, Ladder 17, and Rescue 17 were dispatched to the scene, where at least one individual required medical attention. Upon arrival, responders assessed the situation and provided treatment to those injured. The number of people hurt and the severity of their injuries have not yet been confirmed.
Initial reports indicated that one of the vehicles may have fled the scene before police arrived. Law enforcement is currently investigating the circumstances of the crash and working to identify the driver who left the scene.
Traffic in the area was temporarily impacted while emergency crews worked to secure the roadway and assist the victims.
