Annapolis, MD (January 25, 2026) – A serious vehicle rollover crash occurred early on Friday morning in Annapolis, leaving one person trapped inside the vehicle. The incident happened around 2:26 a.m. on January 23 in the area of Bestgate Road and Compton Drive.
According to dispatch reports from the Anne Arundel Fire Department’s Rescue Alarm 40-02, the vehicle landed on its roof following the collision. Minutes later, the call was upgraded to a rescue operation when it was confirmed that one patient was entrapped. Emergency personnel responded swiftly to the scene, working to extricate the individual safely.
The trapped occupant was removed from the vehicle after coordinated rescue efforts and transported for medical evaluation. The extent of injuries has not been publicly disclosed at this time.
Authorities remained on scene to manage the roadway and begin their investigation into what led to the crash.
