Bowling Green, KY (January 26, 2026) – Emergency crews were dispatched late on Sunday night to a vehicle crash with injuries near Weldon Peete Park along River Street in Bowling Green.
The accident occurred on January 25, just before 9:00 p.m., in the area near the intersection of River Street, Old Louisville Road, and Smokey Pig Road. According to dispatch, the call was initiated by an automated crash notification linked to a Chevy Trailblazer. Moments later, responders were informed that a person at the scene was possibly experiencing a medical emergency, with CPR actively in progress.
Rescue 1, along with law enforcement and EMS, responded immediately. While specific crash details remain limited, emergency communication confirmed that the individual involved may have suffered a stroke either during or following the incident.
