What Types of Damage Can Happen When a Vehicle Crashes Into a Home?
When a vehicle crashes into a house, the damage can extend far beyond the initial point of impact. Structural areas such as support walls, foundations, electrical systems, and plumbing may be affected, even if the outside damage appears limited at first. In many cases, engineers and contractors are brought in to assess whether the home remains safe to occupy.
These incidents can also create dangerous conditions inside the residence due to broken glass, collapsing materials, and displaced furniture. Families are sometimes forced to leave the property while repairs are completed and inspections take place. The severity of injuries in these crashes can vary widely depending on how much force was involved in the collision.
