Chesapeake, VA (January 19, 2026) – A vehicle accident with reported injuries occurred Sunday afternoon near Laurel Avenue, off Shawnee Road in Chesapeake, prompting a response from local emergency services.
The incident was reported around 3:54 p.m., and Medic 3 was dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, responders provided medical assistance to at least one individual who had sustained a laceration. The extent of injuries and the number of people involved have not yet been confirmed by authorities.
Crews worked to ensure the safety of those at the scene and assessed any additional medical needs. Traffic in the surrounding area remained moderately impacted while emergency personnel completed their response and began investigating the circumstances of the crash.
