Council Bluffs, IA (April 12, 2026) – A person was seriously injured after being run over by a vehicle at a car wash in Council Bluffs.
The incident occurred at the D.O. Car Wash located at 227 Bennett Avenue. According to initial reports, the caller told authorities that they had accidentally run over a friend inside the car wash area.
Council Bluffs Police and Council Bluffs Fire & Rescue responded to the scene, including Engine 41 and Medic 3. Emergency crews provided immediate medical care before transporting the injured individual to a local hospital under “Code 3,” indicating a high-priority, emergency transport.
