Detroit, MI (January 9, 2026) – Two young adults were hospitalized on Thursday afternoon following a two-vehicle collision near Moross Road in Detroit that resulted in significant damage and multiple injuries.
The crash occurred at approximately 12:15 p.m. According to initial reports, the victims’ vehicle struck another car after it reportedly pulled out in front of them. The impact triggered full airbag deployment and caused substantial front-end damage.
Neither of the two occupants was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Both individuals sustained leg injuries and minor head trauma. Emergency crews provided immediate care at the scene before transporting them to St. John Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
First responders worked to stabilize the crash site and assist the injured while police temporarily controlled traffic in the area. The condition of the occupants in the second vehicle was not disclosed.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing. Authorities have not yet released additional details regarding fault or potential citations.
