Kissimmee, FL (July 5, 2026) – A motorcyclist was killed on Friday night in a rear-end crash on US Highway 192 near Vacanza Boulevard, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The collision, involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle, was reported around 11:30 p.m. on July 3, prompting a response from emergency units.
Investigators said a 2000 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling eastbound in the inside lane behind a 2025 Mazda CX-50, which was also moving eastbound. Officials reported the motorcyclist failed to notice the slowing vehicle ahead and struck the Mazda’s rear right corner.
The rider was transported to Osceola Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. The occupants of the Mazda were not identified, and no additional injuries were reported. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending family notification. Authorities continue to investigate the crash, and more details will be released as soon as they become available.
