What Happens When a Vehicle Crashes Into a Building?
Areas with multiple access points near Ashlan Avenue and Marks Avenue can complicate crash responses. Responders in Fresno often manage traffic and safety concerns when collisions occur near homes or apartment complexes.
When a vehicle leaves the roadway during a crash, it may strike nearby structures such as homes, walls, or fences. Apartment buildings can be especially vulnerable because parking areas and driveways are often close to living spaces.
Damage to exterior walls may expose interior rooms and weaken structural supports. After these incidents, crews often remove debris and check surrounding areas to confirm that the building remains safe for residents.
