Gainesville, FL (April 22, 2026) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning, April 21, along State Road 24 near Archer. The collision occurred around 7:20 a.m. at the intersection with Southwest 122nd Street.
According to available information, an SUV and a sedan were involved in the crash at the intersection. A 17-year-old driver from Newberry and a 38-year-old driver from Gainesville both suffered minor injuries. A 5-year-old boy who was a passenger in the sedan was critically injured.
Emergency units responded and transported all three individuals to nearby hospitals for treatment. No additional details about their current conditions have been released.
