Hamilton Township, NJ (March 14, 2026) – Authorities are investigating a crash involving a school bus and a delivery truck on Friday morning in Mercer County.
Officers with the Hamilton Township Police Department responded to the scene just before 8 a.m. near the intersection of Klockner Road and Horizon Drive in Hamilton Township, Mercer County, New Jersey.
Authorities reported that a school bus was traveling westbound along Klockner Road when it drifted into the eastbound lane and collided with a United Parcel Service delivery truck that was waiting to make a left turn onto Horizon Drive.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found visible damage to the front of both the school bus and the UPS truck. Officials confirmed that several children aged 11 to 13 were on board the bus at the time of the collision.
Traffic in the area was temporarily affected while crews assessed the situation and cleared the roadway. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Hamilton Township Police Department.
