Hillsboro, OR (January 15, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched to a crash with reported injuries Wednesday night near Southwest Hillsboro Highway, close to Mile Post and Southwest Moreland Lane in Hillsboro.

The incident occurred around 8:54 p.m., involving at least one vehicle in a rural stretch of roadway. Engine One and EMR 135 arrived on scene to find individuals requiring medical attention and began immediate assessment and treatment.

At least one person sustained injuries as a result of the crash and was treated by paramedics. The extent of injuries remains unconfirmed at this time, and no additional information on the number of vehicles involved has been released.

This portion of SW Hillsboro Hwy is a two-lane rural route where visibility and speed can often factor into collisions, particularly at night. Emergency crews temporarily affected traffic while they worked to manage the scene and begin an investigation.

Authorities are continuing to look into the cause of the crash.
