How Low-Speed Vehicle Incidents Involving Children Occur
Incidents involving children and vehicles at low speeds can still result in injuries, especially in areas near schools where foot traffic is higher.
Children may move unpredictably, and even slow-moving vehicles can pose risks if visibility is limited or reaction time is short.
Investigators typically assess vehicle movement, visibility, and the actions of those involved to determine how the incident occurred.
