Huntsville, AL (January 21, 2026) – Two individuals were injured on Tuesday night in a vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 72 and Moores Mill Road in Huntsville, according to officials with HEMSI.
The crash occurred on the evening of January 20 and prompted a swift response from Huntsville Police, Huntsville Fire & Rescue, and additional Madison County emergency crews. Don Webster with HEMSI confirmed that one person was transported to Huntsville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A second individual remained at the scene for evaluation by medical personnel.
First responders worked to secure the area, assist the injured, and investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. The intersection was partially blocked during the emergency response, leading to temporary traffic delays in the area.
Authorities are continuing to review what led to the collision.
