Hyattsville, MD (January 7, 2026) – A traffic collision early Tuesday morning near Kenilworth Ave in Hyattsville resulted in at least one reported injury, according to dispatch reports from local emergency services.
The incident occurred on January 6 around 3:50 a.m. Fire and EMS crews were sent to the scene to assess those involved in the crash, which happened along a stretch of Kenilworth Ave frequently used by early-morning commuters and commercial traffic. While the total number of vehicles involved has not been confirmed, at least one person was reported to have sustained injuries requiring medical attention.
Responders worked to evaluate the scene and provide assistance before clearing the roadway for normal traffic flow. The extent of the injuries and whether any individuals were transported to a hospital has not been released.
