Indianapolis, IN (January 19, 2026) – A serious two-vehicle accident occurred on Sunday evening at the intersection of Rockville Road and North Holt Road, leaving at least one person, identified as a nine-month pregnant woman, in need of medical attention.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene shortly before 6:45 p.m. on January 18, after reports of a crash involving significant front-end damage to both vehicles. Initial callers reported the need for emergency medical services, and units arrived quickly to assess the situation.
One of the drivers, a female in the final stages of pregnancy, requested to be evaluated by paramedics. Medics responded and began immediate care on-site, preparing the woman for further observation at a local hospital. Her condition at the time was not described in detail, but her pregnancy prompted added caution in the medical response.
Law enforcement also arrived to assist with the scene and manage traffic in the area. Both vehicles required towing due to the extent of the damage sustained. Investigators are continuing to review the details to determine what led to the collision.
Our thoughts are with the injured woman, and we wish her and her unborn child a safe and swift recovery.
