Industry, CA (January 5, 2026) – A major multi-vehicle crash involving at least five cars led to injuries and blocked multiple lanes Friday morning on westbound State Route 60 just east of Grand Ave.
The incident was reported around 5:44 a.m. and involved a tan Mercedes GLC300, a white Honda Civic, a black Kia sedan, and at least two other vehicles. The crash blocked both the HOV and #1 lanes during the height of the morning commute, creating significant congestion through the area.
Emergency personnel, including fire crews and paramedics, responded swiftly to the scene. Medical assistance was rendered to at least one injured individual, though the full extent of injuries has not yet been confirmed by officials. One of the involved vehicles—a black Toyota Camry—required towing due to damage.
Tow trucks and cleanup crews worked quickly to remove the vehicles from the lanes, and traffic service patrol units assisted with managing flow around the blocked area. By around 7:00 a.m., the scene was cleared, and traffic began to normalize.
The California Highway Patrol is actively investigating the collision to determine its cause. Factors such as tailgating, lane changes in heavy traffic, and low visibility during early morning hours are all being reviewed.
We extend our best wishes for a full recovery to everyone injured in this multi-vehicle collision.
