Industry, CA (January 12, 2026) – A multi-vehicle collision late Sunday night caused major traffic disruption on eastbound SR-60 just west of Grand Ave. The crash was reported around 10:56 p.m. on January 11, with as many as four vehicles involved, some sustaining extensive damage.
Emergency responders, including the Los Angeles County Fire Department and CHP units, arrived to find multiple lanes blocked and debris scattered across the roadway. A white Lexus SUV and a dark-colored Mercedes sedan were among the vehicles confirmed to be disabled and obstructing both the HOV and No. 1 lanes. One vehicle was reportedly overturned on the right shoulder, and another was found facing the wrong way.
CHP logs indicate that several tow trucks were requested to clear the wreckage, and additional support was called in due to the number of damaged vehicles. Responders confirmed that at least one person required emergency medical transport, although the extent of injuries has not been officially confirmed.
Traffic was brought to a standstill near the SR-57 interchange, and all lanes were briefly closed before partial reopening. Authorities worked overnight to fully clear the scene and reopen the roadway.
The California Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, including reports of one vehicle traveling at high speeds before the collision. No arrests or citations have been announced.
Our thoughts are with the individuals affected by this collision, and we wish a full recovery to those who were injured.
