Industry, CA (January 8, 2026) – A pedestrian was killed on Tuesday evening after being struck by a Metrolink train on Temple Ave, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The fatal incident took place at approximately 5:55 p.m. on January 6 in the 13000 block of Temple Ave near Valley Blvd. Deputies responded to reports of a person being hit by a train and arrived to find a pedestrian fatally injured at the scene.
Crews from the Los Angeles County Fire Department also responded, but despite their efforts, the pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the location. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity, pending notification of next-of-kin.
No injuries were reported among passengers or crew members on board the Metrolink train involved in the incident. The circumstances that led the pedestrian to be on the tracks remain under investigation.
