Kent, WA (February 3, 2026) – An accident involving injuries was reported Saturday afternoon, January 31, north of SE 277th St in Kent. The incident occurred around 2:16 p.m. and prompted a response from fire crews, emergency medical services, and Washington State Patrol.
Information shared through dispatch communications indicated that the incident involved a single vehicle. When crews arrived, they located the driver, who was reported to be suffering from a hand injury along with ringing in the ear. Paramedics evaluated the individual at the scene and provided medical care for a variety of injuries while fire personnel assisted with scene safety.
Emergency crews remained in the area as state patrol officers handled the incident and worked to document what occurred. Traffic in the vicinity was briefly affected while responders assisted the injured individual and ensured the roadway was secure for other motorists.
Reports also noted that the driver was later taken into custody by state patrol officers following the crash. No additional information has been released regarding the individual’s condition or whether hospital transport was required.
