Linn Co., IA (May 14, 2026) – A driver suffered life-threatening injuries after a crash involving a car and a semi in Linn County on Wednesday, May 13. The collision happened around 2:00 p.m. at Highway 13 and Burnett Station Road.
Authorities said the crash occurred as the car was turning onto Burnett Station Road from Highway 13. The car and a southbound semi collided at the intersection.
The impact sent the car into the west ditch south of the intersection. Emergency units airlifted the car’s driver to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The semi driver was not hurt in the crash. No additional injuries were reported in the initial information.
