Los Angeles, CA (January 18, 2026) – A crash involving a pedestrian and two vehicles took place on the 405 Freeway near El Segundo Boulevard, leaving multiple people injured.
Medics and fire crews from Los Angeles responded shortly after 11:19 p.m. following reports of a serious collision in the southbound lanes of Interstate 405. According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was struck by two vehicles under circumstances that remain under investigation.
First responders located two vehicles near the scene along with a pedestrian suffering from serious injuries. The injured individual was transported to a local hospital for emergency care.
