Loyalhanna Township, PA (April 17, 2026) – A motorcyclist was killed following a crash involving a pickup truck in Westmoreland County on Wednesday night, April 16.
The crash occurred when a pickup truck attempted to turn onto County Road from State Route 286. Emergency units responded to the scene after reports of a motorcycle collision.
Authorities said the motorcycle struck the pickup truck during the turn. The rider, identified as 59-year-old Peter Devey, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
