Imperial, CA (July 22, 2026) – A three-vehicle collision with injuries was reported on July 20 along the northbound side of Dogwood Road just north of Harris Road in Imperial County.
Initial dispatch information indicated that a white Hyundai Sonata, a gray Hyundai Palisade, and a Jeep were involved. The vehicles came to rest off the roadway, allowing traffic to move through the area while emergency units assisted those involved. Ambulance personnel were requested after the report of injuries, and later updates confirmed that at least two people were taken for further evaluation.
Tow trucks were called to remove all three damaged vehicles from the roadway. Later in the evening, the California Highway Patrol updated the call to reflect minor injuries. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not yet been released.
The cause of the collision remains under review as additional information becomes available.
