Los Angeles, CA (July 22, 2026) – A motorcyclist was hurt in a late-night traffic collision on the eastbound I-10 transition to southbound I-110 in Los Angeles shortly after 12:30 a.m. on July 21.
According to CHP dispatch reports, the motorcycle rider was found down in the center divider while the motorcycle remained in the traffic lanes. A separate red vehicle with its hazard lights activated had stopped farther ahead and was blocking the fast lane. Emergency units worked to reach the injured rider, and traffic breaks were established to allow crews safe access.
The damaged motorcycle was later moved back to the roadway for towing after investigators examined it. Initial reports described the crash as involving only the motorcycle, though dispatch logs later noted an outstanding vehicle that officers were attempting to locate.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation as more information becomes available.
