Myrtle Beach, SC (January 15, 2026) – A traffic collision near 82nd Parkway on Wednesday afternoon resulted in injuries and prompted a hospital transport, according to dispatch communications from emergency personnel in the area.
The crash occurred around midday and involved two vehicles. Medic 61 responded to the scene and transported one individual to Grand Strand Medical Center for treatment. The specific nature of the injuries has not yet been publicly detailed.
Crews worked efficiently to remove both vehicles from the roadway, and Engine 6 later confirmed that the scene had been cleared and units were back in service. The incident caused temporary disruptions along 82nd Pkwy, but normal traffic flow was restored shortly after the wreckage was cleared.
