What Happens When a Motorcyclist Is Thrown During a Crash?
When a motorcyclist is thrown from a bike during a crash, the risk of severe injury increases significantly. Without the protection of a vehicle frame, the rider may strike the ground or other vehicles.
In some cases, riders can become trapped under vehicles, which adds another layer of danger. This can delay rescue efforts and increase the risk of serious harm.
These types of crashes often happen quickly, giving little time for avoidance. Factors such as speed, road conditions, and vehicle spacing can all influence how far a rider is thrown and what hazards they encounter after impact.
