Oklahoma City, OK (January 14, 2026) – A tragic crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV claimed the life of one person and left two others injured Sunday night in northwest Oklahoma City. The collision occurred shortly before 9 p.m. near the intersection of NW 10th St and Morgan Rd.
According to police, the motorcyclist had been traveling westbound on NW 10th St when an SUV pulled out of a private drive and into the motorcycle’s path. The impact was severe, sending both the rider and a passenger to a nearby hospital for emergency care.
Authorities confirmed that the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The passenger remains in critical condition. The driver of the SUV, a woman whose identity has not been disclosed, was also hospitalized. While her exact condition is unclear, officials said she is expected to survive.
The identities of those involved have not yet been released pending notification of family members. The intersection was temporarily shut down Sunday evening as emergency teams tended to the victims and began their investigation.
