Motorcycle Crash Safety Concerns
Motorcyclists are especially vulnerable in collisions because motorcycles offer less protection than passenger vehicles. Even relatively low-speed crashes can lead to serious or life-threatening injuries for riders.
Drivers are encouraged to remain alert for motorcycles, especially at intersections and along busy urban roadways. Maintaining safe following distances and checking blind spots carefully can help reduce the risk of severe motorcycle crashes.
