Ontelaunee Township, PA (January 18, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched Friday afternoon to a multi-vehicle collision with injuries in front of the Leesport Family Restaurant, located at 5407 Pottsville Pike in Ontelaunee Township.
The crash occurred at approximately 12:02 p.m. on January 17 and reportedly involved three vehicles. The collision was blocking the turning lane, causing traffic disruption in the area. At least one person, a female occupant, complained of neck pain and was evaluated by emergency medical personnel at the scene.
Units from Berks County responded promptly to assess the injured and manage the flow of traffic while the vehicles were cleared from the roadway. It is unknown whether additional injuries were reported.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
