How U-Turn Maneuvers Can Lead to Head-On Crashes
Head-on crashes can occur when a vehicle enters the path of oncoming traffic during a turn. U-turns require a clear view of both directions and enough space to complete the maneuver safely.
If a driver misjudges the speed or distance of an approaching vehicle, the risk of a direct collision increases. These crashes often happen quickly and may leave little time for either driver to react.
Roads like Dillon Road, where traffic may move at higher speeds, can make turning movements more difficult. In these situations, careful timing and awareness of surrounding vehicles are key factors in avoiding collisions.
