Paris, NY (February 2, 2026) – A Saturday night accident involving two vehicles left four people injured at a rural intersection in the Town of Paris, according to information released by local authorities.
The collision occurred at approximately 9:19 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, at the intersection of State Route 12 and Shanley Road. Deputies reported that a 2018 Ford pickup truck traveling west on Shanley Road and a 2015 Ford Focus traveling south on State Route 12 were involved in the accident. The impact brought both vehicles to a stop within the intersection area.
Paris Hill Fire Department and Edwards Ambulance responded to assist those involved. Two occupants of the Ford Focus were transported to Community Memorial Hospital for treatment after sustaining a variety of injuries. The driver and passenger of the pickup truck were evaluated by emergency medical services at the scene. No additional information was released regarding the extent of their injuries.
Traffic in the area was temporarily affected while crews worked to assist those involved and clear the roadway. The accident remains under investigation as authorities continue reviewing the circumstances.
