Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crashes Remain a Serious Concern
Pedestrian crashes can be especially dangerous when a driver leaves the scene without stopping to render aid.
Industrial corridors such as Corless Street in Providence, Rhode Island, may have limited nighttime visibility and low vehicle traffic even late at night.
When authorities investigate hit-and-run incidents, they typically review surveillance footage, witness accounts, and physical evidence at the scene to help identify the vehicle involved and determine the circumstances leading to the crash.
